About Ele Points
Ele Points have been created by Jakarna Wildlife Trust as redeemable trading vouchers, against merchandise in our online shop, or with our trading partners.* One ‘Ele Point’ has a value of one Pound, Dollar or Euro, depending on what currency you have registered with your account. For example, if you have bought a piece (or pieces) of land on our conservancy in Euro’s, then each ‘Ele Point’ will be worth one Euro.
If you have built up a number of ‘Ele Points’ either through buying multiple pieces of land yourself, or as a result of introducing friends/family, who have subsequently purchased land for themselves and used your unique referral code,** then you will be able to use some or all of your ‘Ele Points’ at the checkout in our online shop, or with our trading partners. You can choose to use any number of your ‘Ele Points’ when making purchases.
Example: If you have 15 ‘Ele Points’ and you make a purchase in our online shop of £20.50, you will only have to pay £5.50 if you choose to use up all of your ‘Ele Points’.
‘Ele Points’ are not redeemable elsewhere and only have a value of one Pound, Dollar or Euro, in our online shop, or with our trading partners and cannot be exchanged for cash.
You will be able to monitor your ‘Ele Points’ total in your personal account area within the website. Don’t forget, you will need your unique personal number (the number you were given when you made your first purchase on this website,) to log into your account area.
* Jakarna Wildlife Trust is negotiating with several leading high street brands to create a whole range of items where ‘Ele Points’ can be used to purchase goods or services. New trading partners will be announced as they join us.
If you would like to make a purchase with any high street retailer that is not listed as a trading partner, who you feel have a conservation message and who you feel would support our ethos, please let us know by emailing elepoints@jakarna.com
** Your unique referral code will be created the first time you make a purchase of merchandise from our shop, or when you reserve a piece of land in our conservancy. You will also be given a personal account number if you make a donation online through this website.
You should always ask friends and family to quote your personal referral code if they are intending to sponsor a piece of land, as you will receive one ‘Ele Point’ for each piece of land they subsequently reserve.
